Entec's custom compounding and coloring facility is centrally located near Nashville, TN. This modern facility houses the industry's best, state-of-the-art technology, including the latest in equipment technology and highly experienced technicians. In addition to incorporating value-added reinforcements and additives, custom coloring is a core competency for Entec as evidenced by our licensing agreements with BASF and Chi Mei Corporation to provide the industry with Terluran®, Luran S®, and Luran SC® colors, and Polylac® colors, respectively. The manufacturing facility is IS0 9001-2000 registered and the laboratory is A2LA accredited.

Entec's equipment has been carefully selected to produce materials with the highest possible levels of physical, mechanical and aesthetic performance. Exclusive use of twin screw extruders provides improved homogeneity with minimal shear. Additionally, the ability to configure screw profiles and the use of downstream feeding technology aid in maximizing physical properties and scale-up of products from development to production.
Pre blending of neat resin feedstocks and post blending of compounds ensures intra-lot consistency. Subsequent drying of hygroscopic materials produces resins that are dry and ready to be enclosed in moisture barrier packaging.
